ABOUT

Tipico Pantesco is a restaurant identity inspired by the essence of Pantelleria — its landscapes, its colours, and the warmth of its traditional cuisine.
The brand was designed to reflect the island’s character: simple, welcoming, and deeply connected to nature.
Every visual element draws from local textures, sea breezes, volcanic stone, and the calm rhythm of island life.

 

THE BRIEF

The goal was to create a visual identity that feels rooted in Pantelleria’s authenticity — not a postcard version of the island, but its real atmosphere:
sun-washed colours, warm hospitality, and the quiet harmony of land and sea.

The challenge:
• capture the mood of the island through simple, iconic shapes
• build a visual language that feels relaxed yet refined
• design a logo that reflects Pantelleria’s architecture and natural symbols
• create packaging and branded assets suitable for both dine-in and home-delivery experiences

 

APPROACH

The visual identity was built from key elements of Pantelleria — the golden light of palm trees, volcanic stone textures, deep Mediterranean blues, and the clean geometry of Dammusi architecture.
These references shaped a logo illustrated in a minimal, calm style, paired with a tall typeface that echoes the vertical rhythm of palms.

A nature-rooted colour palette (sea, sky, clouds, stones) and a simple, readable font system create a relaxed, coastal atmosphere that reflects the restaurant’s spirit.
For packaging, eco-friendly materials were selected to respect the island’s fragile ecosystem, extending the brand experience into home delivery with warmth and authenticity.

 

OUTCOME

The final identity became more than a visual system — it functions as a strategic brand ecosystem grounded in the island’s culture, environment, and emotional atmosphere.

It:
• transforms Pantelleria’s natural elements into coherent, modern design principles
• connects the restaurant’s offer with a deeper narrative of place, care, and authenticity
• unifies logo, colour system, typography, menu design, packaging, and branded objects into one intentional experience
