THE BRIEF
Ink brands are often perceived as nostalgic or purely decorative objects — something beautiful to look at, but not to feel.
The goal of this project was to redefine that perception: to turn ink into a seasonal ritual, a quiet moment of intention aligned with the atmosphere of early autumn.
The challenge:
• create a brand rooted in material honesty and natural pigments
• build a visual language that feels warm, tactile, and contemporary
• design packaging that elevates ink from stationery to a crafted object
• communicate a sense of slowness, care, and small-batch production
APPROACH
The identity was designed as a cohesive system where every element supports the story of seasonal pigment creation.
Process highlights:
• developing a visual universe inspired by real dried leaves and natural color variations
• designing a logo that works as a quiet seal — precise, modern, and understated
• building a packaging architecture with soft hierarchy and balanced air
• creating tactile cues: muted materials, embossing ideas, gentle tones
• crafting product imagery with warm shadows, diffused sunlight, and calm still-life setups
Each decision was guided by the same question:
How do we make ink feel like a ritual rather than a tool?
OUTCOME
The final deliverables formed a cohesive brand system that elevates Nakha from a simple natural-product line to a meaningful, story-driven identity.
What was created:
• a strategic brand platform built around purity, earth rituals, and sustainable values
• a refined logomark expressing balance and crafted minimalism
• a complete packaging system using recyclable and eco-responsible materials
• a color and texture universe inspired by natural landscapes
• art-directed product photography in warm, elemental compositions
• layout principles, label design, tone-of-voice, and presentation guidelines
Together, these decisions shaped a brand that feels authentic, grounded, and intentional, honoring both nature and craftsmanship.
